Digital integration of the Resin Free Hang-Off

Kintech has integrated a digital platform to manage all critical data and documents via a unique QR coded label, applied to every Resin Free Hang-Off.  

The QR code enables access to drawings, procedures, checklists and traceability information. This is an industry first for subsea power cable hang-off supply, ensuring confidence in the product through the manufacturing process and operations and maintenance.  

The QR code acts as a digital passport for each hang-off, providing end users with instant access to a full history of the asset.

  • Can be designed to fit a range of interfacing flange sizes in a mono-pile or jacket type foundation as well as Substation J-tubes.
  • Has passed a stringent test program for pressure withstand and tensile capabilities.
  • Addresses important HSE issues by removing the resin.
  • Reduces installation time and provides a hang-off which can be easily removed and re-used, providing flexibility during installation should the need arise to remove the hang-off.
